Project Overview

Subsea Live (former FRIEND) was born to help customers monitor and operate pumps, focused on the fix-now issues. Fifteen years later, it had evolved as part of the OneSubsea digital ecosystem, but market perception remains in the short-term focus and there is a decline in usage by their principal clients.

Challenge

Subsea Live vision aims to change that perception based on an experience strategy to provide value for long-term horizons.

Solution

Focus on understanding clients' needs to design a user-centered product. 13 clients and 2 internal users engaged to understand their pain points, unmet needs and validate the concepts. 


Approach

Through stakeholder interviews  three business objectives were identified, as well as 4 main archetypes.

After validating the HMWs with SLB and it's clients, we pushed to repurpose the platform's service offer to make it more appealing and useful for every archetype that interacted with it.
